Here it is, Christmas 2015. And we never did get the entire family together. I know we all want to do it, but it is hard on the kids with their you families constantly on the go. Maybe Barb and I will take a ride some week and just go out and visit with them.
Wow, what a lot of stuff going on this week.
Our newest creation for Carl and Mary is http://sydneyacrossamerica.com/
Sydney is their Scout Traveler. The journey has just begun.
On the other hand, the demise of my KB-5 is at hand. Went out to try and get it started earlier this week and found that the trusty GRD engine is locked up solid. The ball is now in my oldest son’s hands to find a Dodge chassis with a Cummins D6T or even without a Turbo would be nice.
Went to Mayo yesterday. Poked, prodded, etc. I’m hoping that they come up with an answer for my back issues.
It was a sad day yesterday. But sooner or later, I knew that the day would come when my 1954 Belair would be gone.
Sold to a young man and his wife. He will be changing the car into a led sled. If you are not familiar with the term take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead_sled
The new owner will not use led as it is too expensive and is a real art to use. Using led is something that today’s young people are not familiar with.
